Document Management

FTrack can manage documents of any kind. It is not only a storage utility, it can record the different releases of a document among other documents related to it. If the document belongs to MicroSoft Product Family, like Word, Excel, Power Point and you have installed the right Microsoft Plugging for editing it, then FTrack will launch it directly when you want to access to it. Otherwise, you will have to "save it as" in your hard disk and them open it with the right tool. Documents can be attached to almost every object in FTrack. If the user edits a FTrack object that can have attached documents, they will be displayed in a tab called Documents.
